Bruarfoss, Brekkuskógur, Iceland Another wonderful hidden place of Iceland: Bruarfoss. Searching for a particular angle I had to walk inside this ice cold water. I forgot about everything even my feet. When I finished my work and got out of the water again they were completely numb. I was lucky enough to have another pair of socks and shoes and a towel with me, so I could change it quickly. It took several hours until the last toe was working again. It`s only a short story but it`s an example for the implacability of nature. But that`s what I like most: The contrast between harshness and beauty of the wilderness.
